Inside Out (art book by Nastia Rybnikova)

This art book by Nastia Rybnikova is based on real letters from political prisoners collected through OVD-Info’s “Vestochka” service. The texts are artistically reinterpreted through original illustrations, merging word and image into a unified portrait of contemporary Russia.

Created as part of the film “Inside Out” (by RCDA), the project offers a more intimate and in-depth engagement with the reality of repression in modern Russia, giving voice to those who have been deprived of their freedom.
