Attention : Alliance Démocratique des Canadiens Russes (ADCR) a été reconnue comme une “organisation indésirable” en Russie. Conformément à l’article 284.1 du Code pénal, l’exercice d’activités d’une “organisation indésirable” (y compris la fourniture ou la collecte de fonds ou la prestation de services financiers destinés à soutenir délibérément des activités “indésirables”) est passible de poursuites pénales (en savoir plus – disponible en russe seulement).
Support organizations that assist LGBTQ+ individuals in Russia
On June 14, 2023, the State Duma of the Russian Federation supported, in the first reading, a bill on the “complete ban on changing one’s gender.” This bill is another manifestation of the transphobic policy that Russia has adhered to in recent years.
We strongly oppose this bill and are launching a fundraising campaign to support organizations that assist LGBTQ+ individuals in Russia. All funds will be divided equally and donated to the following organizations:
- Queer Svit (Instagram) – assists LGBTQ+ individuals from Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia whose lives or health are in danger due to the war.
- Center T – an initiative group working to improve the quality of life for transgender people in Russia. They help transgender and non-binary individuals, people in gender exploration, individuals going through detransition, as well as their families and loved ones.
We encourage you to support these organizations by following them on social media and making donations.
The campaign would greatly benefit from you sharing it with your friends and acquaintances, especially if you organize your own fundraisers among colleagues and neighbours!
The fundraising will continue until the end of September (as many Canadian cities hold pride parades in September). Afterward, the entire collected amount will be transferred to the specified organizations.
Le 14 juin 2023, la Douma d’État de la Fédération de Russie a soutenu, lors de la première lecture, un projet de loi sur l’”interdiction totale du changement de genre”. Ce projet de loi est une nouvelle manifestation de la politique transphobe à laquelle la Russie adhère ces dernières années.
Nous nous opposons fermement à ce projet de loi et lançons une campagne de collecte de fonds pour soutenir les organisations qui viennent en aide aux personnes LGBTQ+. Tous les fonds seront répartis également et versés aux organisations suivantes :
- Queer Svit (Instagram) – apporte une assistance aux personnes LGBTQ+ d’Ukraine, de Biélorussie et de Russie dont la vie ou la santé sont en danger en raison de la guerre.
- Center T – un groupe d’initiative qui travaille à améliorer la qualité de vie des personnes transgenres en Russie. Ils viennent en aide aux personnes transgenres et non binaires, aux personnes en exploration de genre, aux personnes en cours de détransition, ainsi qu’à leurs familles et à leurs proches.
Nous vous encourageons à soutenir ces organisations de manière indépendante en les suivant sur les réseaux sociaux et en faisant des dons.
La campagne bénéficierait grandement de votre partage avec vos amis et connaissances, notamment si vous organisez vos propres collectes de fonds parmi vos collègues et voisins !
La collecte de fonds se poursuivra jusqu’à la fin septembre (de nombreux défilés de la fierté sont organisés dans plusieurs villes canadiennes en septembre). Ensuite, l’intégralité de la somme collectée sera versée aux organisations spécifiées.
14 июня 2023 года Государственная Дума Российской Федерации поддержала в первом чтении законопроект о «полном запрете смены пола». Этот законопроект – очередное проявление трансфобной политики, которой Россия придерживается последние годы.
Мы выступаем категорически против этого законопроекта и запускаем сбор в поддержку организаций, занимающихся поддержкой ЛГБТ+ людей. Все деньги будут разделены поровну и перечислены следующим организациям:
- Квiр Свiт (Instagram) – помогает ЛГБТК+ людям из Украины, Беларуси и России, чьи жизни или здоровье оказались в опасности в связи с войной.
- Центр Т – инициативная группа, работа которой направлена на повышение уровня качества жизни трансгендерных людей в России. Помогают трансгендерным и небинарным людям, людям в гендерном поиске, персонам, проходящим детранзишн, а также их родным и близким.
Мы предлагаем вам поддерживать эти организации самостоятельно, подписавшись на их соцсети и на пожертвования.
Сбору очень поможет, если вы расскажете о нём вашим друзьям и знакомым, и особенно, если организуете свои собственные фандрайзинги среди коллег и соседей!
Сбор будет продолжаться до конца сентября (во многих канадских городах в сентябре проходолжают проходить прайд-парады), после чего вся собранная сумма будет переведена указанным организациям.
