Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated volunteer coordinator for RCDA – a non-profit organization for anti-war and democratic Russians and Russian citizens in Canada. The ideal candidate should have experience working with volunteer programs or people management/training, possess excellent organizational skills, and have a passion for supporting peace and human rights.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the organization’s volunteer base.
- Organize and conduct meetings, assemblies, and training sessions for volunteers.
- Coordinate volunteers’ participation in various events, rallies, and campaigns.
- Coordinate volunteers with project curators.
- Assist in recruiting new volunteers and conduct their orientation.
- Monitor volunteers’ task completion and provide timely feedback, including reminding project curators of feedback.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop event ideas and plans.
- Gather data on volunteer activities and prepare reports for the organization’s leadership.
Requirements (negotiable):
- Experience in volunteer programs, event organization, or people management.
- Excellent communication skills and conflict resolution abilities.
- Responsibility, punctuality, and organization.
- Passion for the organization’s mission and support of humanitarian values.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to work approximately 5 hours per week with a flexible schedule.

- Monitor media coverage related to the organization and its programs, and prepare reports highlighting key mentions and trends.
