Dear Friends and Community,

As many of you may already know, several southern Russian cities in the Orenburg region are currently facing a devastating flood disaster. As of April 8, more than 10,000 residential homes have been affected by flooding, with four reported fatalities.

A state of emergency of federal magnitude has been declared in Orsk, and mass evacuation of the population has commenced. The situation is worsening. The situation is dire, with homes destroyed, families displaced, and communities in urgent need of assistance. Families are losing their homes and belongings. Authorities are not providing sufficient support and assistance proportional to the severity of the events. The burden of help falls on the shoulders of ordinary people – volunteers who are trying to help as much as they can.

This is the moment when we can extend a helping hand. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant difference. It can help one person or one family. Your donations can assist those affected by this tragedy.

We are launching a fundraiser to support flood relief efforts in Orsk, Orenburg. Your generous donations will provide essential supplies such as food, water, blankets, and shelter to those impacted the most.

Here’s how you can help:

  • Donate: Any amount you can contribute will go directly towards helping those in need. Every dollar counts and will be immensely appreciated.
  • Spread the Word: Share this fundraiser with your friends, family, and social networks. The more people who know about it, the greater the impact we can make together.

Thank you for your support and kindness!
