Letter to Kazakh Service Center – Canada

Kazakh Service Center – Canada

Ottawa, Ontario K1P5H9 Canada

To whom it may concern,

We are writing on behalf of the Russian Canadian Democratic Alliance and activists to express our sincere and deepest gratitude to the Kazakhstan Government, and to the People of Kazakhstan for extending hospitality to the citizens of the Russian Federation.

In the darkest hours of Russian history when for seven horrible months, the government of Russia is waging an unprovoked war with Ukraine, an independent, sovereign country, you agreed to help the citizens of the Russian Federation who refused to support the regime and commit war crimes by joining the military forces attending the conflict zone. The military draft has disproportionately targeted ethnical minorities. By accepting those fleeing from Russia, you are not only saving the lives of the Indigenous Peoples of the Russian Federation but also preventing further genocide of Ukrainian citizens.

The People of Kazakhstan have demonstrated the highest kindness, generosity and commitment to human rights and freedom. There are not enough words to express our gratitude to the government and the People of Kazakhstan for this noble act.

Sincerely yours,
